Our switch to Ventrilo!

If you have tried getting on Teamspeak, I'm sure that you wondered what was going on. Well, after some suggestions, I have switched over to Ventrilo to try it out and see if it works better. Here is what you need to do in order to get on our Vent channel....

1st: Download Ventrilo @ http://www.ventrilo.com/
- choose version 3.0.5
2nd: Once you have Vent downloaded, open it up.
- you should see a small box with "User Name", "Server", "Binding"...etc.
3rd: Beside "User Name" you'll see this ->
- click on -> and select "new"
- type in your IGN (In Game Name) and click "ok"
4th: Beside "Server" click on ->
- click "new" and type in "Crossfire"
- Hostname or IP : vent31.gameservers.com
- port number: 4242
- password: jajaja <---- all lowercase
- default channel: CF Mafia
- click "ok"
5th: When you connect, you should go straight to the server....if not please let me know
as soon as possible so I can fix it.
6th: If you click on "setup", your "silence time" should be set to 1.5 seconds and your
"sensitivity" should be around 10 or so...depends on how loud you talk, so please
adjust accordingly.

I hope this works right...guess we'll find out soon! lol

I am glad we switched. Rybet *salute* and Thank you for all your efforts into making this clan what it is. We started from such humble beginnings and have persevered alot of issues. Vent is a very good step in the right direction for clan communication. As far as the costs It might be appropriate to set up a pay pal account for donations so you are not individually responsible for ALL costs. That way If someone wants to help they can do it easily. PM me if you would like to discuss it's implementation to our lil' forum.

yes this works amazingly. one thing. if im on, polard just stfu! jk

Yes, Strike105, you are right! I still have TeamSpeak on my computer, but if you try to open the CF Mafia server on there, it'll give you a "server offline" message.

Ventrilo is much, much better though!

yea strike its wayyyyyyy better ^^ you can even hear inher's and polaroid's accent when they talk =D i love it
